CALL FOR INSTRUCTORS

The PMI Central Florida Chapter (www.pmicfc.org) is requesting chapter member PMPs to volunteer as instructors for the upcoming PMP Prep Certification & PMP Refresher Course. The schedule is set to Sat. 02/27/2010, Sat. 03/06/2010, and Sat. 03/13/2010. The course will be held at the University of Phoenix, 2290 Lucien Way, Maitland, FL 32751.

If you would like to volunteer, please complete the attached  Instructor Application Form  and return it to me by February 12. This will allow me enough time to select the instructors and delver the training material to you, so that you will have enough time to prepare for the class.

Each instructor must attend a Train-The-Trainer class to be held on Saturday, February 20 at the University of Phoenix from 09:00 to 12:00 in room # (TBD). This three-hour session will provide you with an overview of the entire course, specifics about your assigned unit, as well as tips on how to prepare and deliver your assigned unit.

The course references the PMBOK Fourth Edition published in 2008. Everything you need to present your assigned unit will be provided for you. As a way to thank you for volunteering your valuable time, you will earn 10 PDUs.

Please encourage your co-workers, friends and fellow professionals that are pursuing their PMP to take this course.

Thank You,
Michael McCurdy
