PMP Question of the Month

All of the following are generally true about leadership in a project environment EXCEPT:

A. It involves focusing the efforts of a group of people toward a common goal and enabling them to work as a team.

B. It is the ability to get things done through others.

C. Respect and trust, rather than fear and submission, are the key elements of effective leadership.

D. Although important throughout all project phases, effective leadership is critical during the closing phase when the emphasis is on stakeholder acceptance of the project.

“Congratulations!  This year marks the PMI Central Florida Chapter’s 15th year as a PMI Charted Community. PMI thanks the leadership and all of the members of the PMICFC for their dedication. The entire PMI organization is grateful for the time and effort contributed to building and supporting PMI’s envisioned goal, that “Worldwide organizations will embrace, value and utilize project management and attribute their success to it.” A Milestone Award announce will be in PMI Today.” – Mark Langley COO, PMI.
